The Process of FSSAI Food Product Approval System

Apply for the Product Approval along with all necessary information and mandatory documents to FSSAI “note:- FSSAI is working on building an advance system to provide product approval through online, website under construction”.

Product labeling – The labeling of the food product must be as per the FSSAI labeling Guidelines.

While applying for the product approval, the FBO must provide the prototype of the product label along with all mandatory documents

Make the payment of Product Approval fees to FSSAI.
