Introduction of COVID-19 MCA Compliance
COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease) has been started in Hubel province in central China and now it has been spread globally in the world. The virus is spread from one person to another. Over lacs of people have been affected from this virus and no vaccine has been developed till now.
For the public safety the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has allowed the majority of the employees to work from home. For this compliance has to be followed by all the companies. The Ministry deployed Web Base Form CAR (Companies Affirmation of Readiness towards Covid-19) on 23st March 2020 which has to be filed till 30st March 2020. There is no fees applicable for the form. It is a purely voluntary contribution as a part of our contribution towards joining the movement to fight against the spread of the disease. Stakeholders may at their convenience file this form before the due date.
The form describes whether the company/LLP is in compliance of COVID-19 Guidelines including work from home policy.
Any Director/Company Secretary/Any other Person Authorized by the Company/LLP shall be Signatory for the Web Base Form.
Further As per General Circular No. 10.2010, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has made the clarification on spending of CSR funds for COVID-19. Funds may be spent for various activities related to COVID-19 described under Schedule VII.
