Medical Device Import License Process in India

Applications for approval to import a medical Device into India are authorized by the Central Drugs Standards Control Organization (CDSCO). According to the guidelines outlined in the Medical Devices Rules of 2017, an import license in the form of MD-15 is required in order to import medical devices that have been legally designated. This license can be obtained from the CDSCO.
