A laptop, also known as a laptop computer or notebook computer, is a tiny, portable computer featuring a screen and an alphanumeric keypad. Although 2-in-1 PCs with a detachable keyboard are commonly marketed as laptops or as having a laptop mode, they typically have a clam shell form factor, with the screen attached on the inside of the upper lid and the keyboard mounted on the inside of the lower lid.
