Speed up to 1.5 mtr. Per sec | Rs. 770/-(each lift) |
Speed more than 1.5 mtr. Per sec | Rs. 1020/-(each lift) |
Fee must be deposited by the applicant through online e-payment. An inspection fee of Rs.20-(twenty rupees only) is required to be paid along with the below applicable. Electrical Installation’ Inspection fee:
How To Obtain A License For Lift Operation?
After lift installation the Form B along with prescribed inspection fee to the inspector of lifts to be submitted. Further inspection will be done by inspector and if he satisfies by the safety measures the valid license for working of the lift in Form C is issued.
Documents Required To Apply For Lift License with Form A
Application on a prescribed form ‘A’
- Lift installation drawing
- Experience certificate – Attested copies
- Previous certificate of competency Class II issued by Board (Attested)
- Treasury receipt (Original)
- Application must be signed in presence of Employer/Magistrate/Gazetted Officer/Member of Parliament/ Member of Legislative Assembly or Municipal Councilor
- The duly attested photograph should fixed in form and another should be properly attached in application
Two Self-addressed stamped envelopes of size 9” x 4”

- I.D Proof (Any one is mandatory)-
- Aadhaar Card, Passport, Ration card with photo, Voter ID card, PAN card, Driving license, Any Govt. recognized document
- Present Address Proof of Applicant (Any one is mandatory)-
- Adhaar Card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Passport, Ration card, Rent agreement(Registered, Bank Passbook, Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Telephone Bill (Landline or Post-paid), Gas Bill, Any Govt.recognised document
- Permanent Address proof of Applicant (Any one is mandatory) – same as an list 2
- Date of Birth Proof of Applicant (Any one is mandatory)
- Proof of birth with date mention of Applicant (Any one is mandatory)
- Adhaar card (Verified Dob)
- Nursing home/Hospital Report/Vaccination card
- SSC from recognized board by GoI
- Certificate from school signed by Principal on School Letter Head
- Passport
- Driving License
- CMO/Doctor Report
- One Passport size Coloured Photograph of the applicant (Size 5cm x 4.5cm or 2’’ x 1.75’’)
- Should include full face, front view and open eyes
- Should be of full head from top of hair to shoulder
- Should be in a plain white or off-white background
- Should have a natural expression (closed mouth)
- Shouldn’t be shadows on the face or background

Validity of Lift License
The license validity is one year and person should apply for renewal before the three month of expiry date mention in the license.
How to Obtain a License for Working of the Lift?
