EPR Authorization is mandatory for Routers

Category: EPR Authorization

Product Code: ITEW22

Routers also fall under the purview of E-Waste Management Rules. The router is a device that we use to access the internet at home and offices. It distributes the internet connection from the fibre network to a local wireless network. Router manufacturers need to fulfil their EPR obligations based on recent productions. They need to obtain EPR Authorisation for Routers. Following the EPR compliances is extremely important not only for the liabilities it incurs on the businesses but also for the impact it makes on the environment. The lack of e-waste processing will pollute the environment as well as put a burden on the limited resources of our planet.
