Form 42 and Form 43 for the Import of Cosmetics in India

The importation of cosmetics in India is governed by the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, of 1940. Form 42 is the application for a registration certificate, hence safety standards are ensured. Form 43 is the actual certificate of registration issued post-approval.
