DGFT Restricted Import License for Tyre in India - New & Used

Importing tyres into India starts with checking the type of tyre, ITC HS code, current DGFT import policy and other approvals linked to the product. The requirements are not the same for new, used, retreaded and waste tyres. A DGFT restricted import license for tyre import, officially called a Restricted Imports Authorisation, is relevant only where the applicable import policy requires such permission. Importers may also need to check BIS certification, CPCB EPR registration, environmental approvals and Customs requirements before shipment.
