The Aravali Forest NOC helps protect the Aravali Hills, which are very old mountains with many plants, animals, and water sources. Special rules apply to these areas because the land is sensitive. The Government made these rules under the Aravali Notification in 1992. No one can start building, digging, cutting trees, or opening a factory here without permission.
This permission is called the Aravali NOC. It is needed for any land or project that falls inside the Aravali zone in places like Gurugram, Mewat, and nearby parts of Haryana. Even a small building or a small change in land use needs forest clearance first.
The officers check the land map, project details, and the effect on nature. They allow work only when the project does not harm plants, soil, clean air, or animals living there. This keeps the hills safe and stops damage to groundwater, which many people depend on.
This NOC also helps avoid big problems later, like stop-work orders, penalties, or demolition of buildings. It makes sure that development happens in a proper, lawful, and environmentally friendly way.
